FAQs

Q: Are all you meat products Zabiha Halal? if yes who is your supplier

A: All of our fresh meats, Poultry and Red Meat products (Lamb, Beef and Goat)  are raised cage free and are 100% Zabiha Halal (Hand Slaughtered). Please email us at info@wegotmeat.com to receive a copy of certifications. All our meat is processed at our store at 5833 Sawmill Road, Dublin Ohio.

Q: I just placed an order, when would it be delivered?

A: Local Delivery: All orders placed before midnight are scheduled for next day deliveries (unless you have scheduled for a specific date). We deliver Mon-Fri between 4p-8pm and Sat-Sun from 12-4pm.

Out of State Shipping: Please allow a minimum of 5-7 business days to prepare and deliver your order. One of the reason why it takes longer than other meat delivery services is we do not carry pre packaged and pre cut meat ready to be shipped. Every order is a custom order and is prepared as soon as we receive the order. It is then placed in our freezers for two days and its shipped the very next business day in our insulated box.

Q: In what conditions our meat will be arriving?

A: You should be receiving the meat under following condition depending on how long it stayed in transit.

a. Fully Frozen
b. Partially Frozen
c. Chilled, holding a temperature of at least 41 degrees.

How is my order kept cold during the shipping process?

Each box shipped from our facility contains an insulated cooler, packed with dry ice to keep it cold.

Will my order be shipped frozen?

Our products are frozen prior to being shipped. This ensures the meat arrives at your home at a safe temperature.

What if my order is partially thawed upon receipt?

It is possible that a portion of your order may not arrive completely frozen, especially when the weather is very warm. We suggest consuming any beef within 7 days and any poultry within 3 days. If any of your order is warm to the touch, we suggest discarding that portion and giving us a call. Use a food thermometer to measures the internal temperature of raw meat and poultry. Raw meat and poultry should measure at 40 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure food is safe to consume. We take food safety and shipping our products very seriously. We take as many measures as possible to ensure your order arrives in a safe condition.

How should I store the products, once they arrive?

As long as the meat is cool to touch you may cook or refreeze it with confidence.

Q: Why is my meat not the exact weight I ordered?

A: Meat is sold on gross weight. That means the net weight is post fat and skin clean up. You may lose up to 10-15% from the weight you asked for after being processed.
